Hi

Seeing how some of the BB Apps are mere android ports (and not built for BB) with half the original functionality and delayed updates (if that) would it be better if I just installed the original android app (from Snap or Amazon) .. I am talking about the Android apps that actually work on BB 10, like facebook, twitter, instagram etc .. from what I hear, CB android app seems to work better on a BB10 device, with far more functionality and effectiveness than the actual BB app.

Yeah I would prefer apps from snap than from BBworld if they were mere ports..faster updates.

However, there is a catch that some chat apps do not push notifications or notifications are delayed.

Some apps don't have notification s showing up in the hub, a majority of them are a bit choppy to scroll around, and a problem most of us occur is the lack of Google Play Services.

I love that Android apps bring a good selection of apps to BB10 and all, but I'd rather much use a BB10 native version of an app if it's available.

I agree, the native apps don't have the sluggishness of android apps but U will allow that functionality does take a major hit and that's one factor making me sway. I'll have to take the long route then, install the apps I need and check to see how they perform against their native counterparts.
