    I have a 2 AMP amazon basic wall charger, is it ok if I use it to charge my BlackBerry classic? Will it damage the battery or phone?

    It's fine, go ahead.

    I've used a 2.1 amp on my Z10, Z30 and Passport -- no issues.

    The 2 amps of the charger means that the charger can supply a current no more than 2 amps. The phone will take what it needs so you are safe no matter how much the charger can output.
