    I have modified few of the notification settings in different profiles, but they are not working as expected.
    As for an instance I have set notification for a contact which sounds and vibrate turned off. But when I recieve first message from that particular contact everything is silent, and when the number messages gets over 1 it starts ringing for every single message.
    Other problem I was having is with the hike. I have turned of all notifications for hike, but it rings every single time. Feeling disappointed as I want these settings to work as I expected but nothing is foing in a right way

    update your OS. This was an issue in one of the OSes but no longer exists in 2708 as far as I know.

    I am currently on 2708.
