    Hi guys, my friend has 2 broken BBs which are both the BB Curve 8520, the first one was a suspected damaged screen with a USB port and the second one has a working screen but no USB port (it broke off).

    I switched the screens around and come to discover they both work. The first BB just has a white screen though no matter which screen is connected. So I connected it to the BB manager, factory reset and updated it hoping it would fix anything that may be corupt, but still just a white screen throughout the entire process. I opened BBSAK, took a screen shot and it appears to be functioning okay, I managed to complete the setup instructions by screenshots after every step.

    Does anyone have anything else I could try?

    Sorry, I'm OP. Forgot to log in.

    Desktop manager is how I managed to factory reset and update it. It hasn't said there's any problems at all and recognises it too.
