    Hello,
I recently purchased a BB Q5 with OS 10.1 .0.4181 and I've been trying to upgrade it but it tells me that there isn't enough space on my phone.

Most of the space is taken by "Other data" which I can't seem to remove.

When I try to do the download through BB Link, my laptop crashes with this error: DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION.

As you can see I have a "loop" problem and I need help.

The problem is that I already have all my contacts on my phone and I don't want to delete them.
I want to be able to back them up first.

At which point in the upgrade process does the BSOD happen?

Since it's a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error, I'm guessing something's up with the BlackBerry driver.

Do you have the latest BlackBerry Link (available in the Blend bundle)? And all Windows updates?

    Yes
I know that BlackBerry Link absolutely hates USB 3.0, at least over here.

Any USB 2.0 ports/hubs you could try?
