Just lost access to my Starbucks app on my Passport SE. Deleted and is now incompatible when trying to upload again from Google Play. Anything I can do?

It nows says that Android 4.4 is required.... on Google Play.

Amazon still has the older version that should work.... unless Starbucks is suddenly trying to force everyone to upgrade to a more secure version.

Have to see if others are still on BB10 and using that App.....

Did they enable tap-to-pay with the new update? If so, that requires 4.4 as Host Card Emulation doesn't work properly with Android versions below that.

It's forced obsolescence. Slightly different thing* In any case I was being sarcastic.

* When Microsoft released Vista, it was slammed for the high system requirements compared to XP. Ever since then each new release of Windows has had roughly the same minimum requirements as Vista.

There is app in blackberry app world called MAKE which is very basic but does work for payment of drinks. It doesn't keep track of rewards points, or let you order. Just for paying.
