Hello, I hope someone could help me. I would really like to get the BlackBerry Passport but I am hesitating because I would need to be able to communicate with my wife who only has a tablet at home and we use hangouts quite a bit for that will there be another way?

There are some hangouts clients, but they're not really useful, not really a viable choice.

The other option is to get the wife to install bbm on the tablet, or use Skype or another alternative.

BBM not compatible for nexus 7? That's weird. It should work.

I have BBM for my S4 working flawless for more than a year, it is strange that it doesn't work for the Nexus 7

It states that cause the tablet does not have celluar capabilities. I assure you that BBM will run fine, how consist would remain to be seen.

Maybe because tablet is only WiFi? And yes I downloaded it on my htc 1 and BBM works fine on it.

And I also just saw the email quote comment, so funny how we always seem to seek a childish way of corresponding when the BlackBerry is all about professional, thanks for that input, (Denise in LA) on the email.

You'll just have to download the apk file for bbm from a different source online.

It works perfectly on tablets, they just haven't made it available on Google play for some reason
