I'm getting a Z10 at the end of the week to backup my Classic and I asked the following question prior to the VZW release today: can the virtual KB be programmed with "Shortcuts and Speed Dial - assign keys for actions and phone numbers" like you can on a PKB?

The preset feature is a big reason I love the Classic and Q10, and a reason I came back to BlackBerry. I manage a team of 8 people, call them regularly throughout the day, send a lot of emails and texts, and the preset keys makes communicating with the team much easier. From a non tech point of view it seems like this could be accomplished without too much difficulty but...

You know, I answered you in your other thread and the answer is still the same today as it was yesterday.

Numbers 2 thru 9 are programmable as speed dial numbers on the Z10. Number 1 is locked for speed dialing your voice mail.

Does that not answer your question?

Maybe if I say it with pictures....

As I stated above, I asked this same question prior to today's VZW OS release of 10.3.2. There was a change to the Q10 presets after today's update so I wanted to see if this was for all devices. You didn't state whether your answer stemmed from 10.2 or 10.3.2. I do appreciate you responding again, but if you look at this from my point of view, seeing a change to the Q10 on this specific topic could mean it affected other devices as well. Thanks again.
