    I'm afraid the production of the Bold has now ceased in terms of getting new hardware. As for an OS update, you can use Desktop Manager to make sure you have the latest OS version or check out some of the hybrid OS versions posted here on Crackberry.

    BBOS has had its time and BlackBerry is moving forward with BlackBerry 10 as its platform.
