    I had a Z10, the motherboard crashed and the phone is dead. I borrowed a friend's Q30, wiped it clean back to factory settings and tried to back up the Q30 with my old back up file so that I don't lose 15 years worth of contacts. It is not recognizing it whatever I do. Does anyone know of a software that will allow me to open the BBM 10 back up to view the data? Very frustrated in Tulsa, OK.

    What would be the point of BlackBerry security if anyone can open the backup. You cant open the backup file. Let it go

    Elcomsoft Phone Breaker does the job of decrypting BB10 backups.

    Don't know what you will find in it in terms of BBM but you could ask the company, they are very responsive.
