    my phone died, i plugged it up and turned it on to charge before anything came on it just went to a solid blue screen for about 5 seconds and then shut off. i have tried removing the battery and leave it on the charger for hours but it will not turn on or respond. Is it just the battery or is the phone shot?

    There could be a problem to the motherboard of your phone.

    try to reistall os using autoloaders on blackberry website. before doing that uninstall bblink from ur pc. and update software using website autoloaders.

    I had the same experience but my phone did turn on after I took out the battery once and reboot it
    But maybe yours is not turning on cause of some hardware or software prob! Were you using the official or leak?
