Anyone here can explain these? Why did my system download so huge data? I've known it just now after checking my selular data usage history. It seems to be the reasons why I often run out of my data so quickly and why my service provider turns down my complaints about it.

    Please help...

    Online games perhaps?
Check device monitor to try and identify any particular apps which may be running in background.
Have you disabled roaming data access?

There are no online games installed on my phone. Also, I've checked the permission of each app and game, monitored the data usage of each, and found that none of them matters. It is only the system that has consumed most of my data. Is the system corrupted?

USB tethering perhaps. When I tether my net on computer, data is shown used by the system... maybe that is the case... maybe...

Yes, I turned my hotspot on and used it myself. But the amount of the data used was far more than what it should have been. Because I just did some browsing to the internet and downloaded no big files. Is the hotspot data we use counted here (in the system)?

Did you use the Hotspot data on your laptop?
It's possible that your laptop downloaded an updated for a software which is why it consumed such a huge amount of data

I turn off automatic update on my PC as well. And if my PC downloaded updates, it should have showed the process or given the notification or somehow. It truly bothers me much. When I confirmed this problem to my mobile service provider, they always said that the data usage was correct. How come is it???
