[CrackBerry Question]

Hi, I just recently purchased a Q10 and out of the box it came with OS 10.1.0.273. I want to update to 10.3 but when I connect to BlackBerry link I get a message saying I have to restore my device along with "can't communicate with device.", and when I click restore, I get a "Repair did not succeed" message, over and over again. Even with sachesi pulled up (Was gonna update through that), the software is constantly looking for my device with a message that reads, "Detected 1 Blackberry device in Unix mode." Don't know what that means. Is there a way for me to do an equivalent of a DFU restore on my Black Berry?

Link is no longer being updated by BlackBerry and it no longer works for many users, especially those with newer versions of MacOS and Windows. There is also a conflict with iTunes for many using Windows.

Make sure you are using the latest version of Link from BlackBerry.com. Link no longer works for me with Windows 10, but the USB drivers which installed without it do work. Are you using a USB cable connection?
