    Hello.

My Blackberry Passport was water damaged, after replacing the screen and the keyboard I'm back up and running...almost. Q, A, Z, & H keys don't work so its impossible to enter 'blackberry' before enetering my numerical password.

My backup could have been more recent so I'm keen to retrieve the data on the phone or at least back it up but before I can do that I must enter the "password on the device".

If I plugged a micro USB keyboard into the Blackberry Passport would it work straight away or would I need install an app or activate it in some way?

    Thank you in advance

    Settings...Language input...external keyboard...select your input language.

Can be done with USB "on the go" and also by Bluetooth if available on your peripheral.
