I used the old brick back in the day for my work and they upgraded me to a Curve, then to the Tour. The Tour was just fockin' awesome especially when traveling internationally!

For me the Classic, because of the keyboard, the hub, the toolbelt and for my purpose the screensize, it just feels great in my hands, from minute one. For me it is the ultimate communication and contact device.

I didn't think anything could beat the Bold 9900, after seeing the Q-10 and walking away from it (with a free upgrade available on my account) I didn't think I'd ever find a device which would be as good as the Bold.

The came the Classic, I knew pretty much as soon as I picked it up that I was going to fall in love with this phone. After six weeks of using it, I love it so much more than my Bold 9900 and it is truly the best BlackBerry, actually the best phone I have ever owned.

BlackBerry Classic = Corporate User Perfection!

I really enjoyed my Z30. It was my first all touch. I think the Passport now, is the best. I have to admit I'm stating to get a little bored of it. The novelty of having a "different" phone has worn off.

OP if you liked the Tour when traveling internationally (I'm assuming because it worked well connectivity-wise,) you're going to love the Passport.

Torch 9810 - best EV'AR! It's built like a tank (I've dropped my old Torch lots and it still worked perfectly). Full digital touch or hideaway backlit keyboard (just a tiny bit too small but even I got used to it and could type wickedly fast), removable battery (that lasted a LONG time anyhow), removable microSD card for expandable storage, small form factor, decent sound and call quality. It's only limiting factor? BB 7.1. If it had BB 10 on it and grown up insides (cpu, ram, etc) it would be the perfect phone.

I am not too thrilled on the size of the new slider, but if it turns out to be smaller than the skateboard I see in pictures, I will buy it.

Had a Torch 9800 but it didn't sit well with me and returned it for the 9780.

My old Bold 9780 was the phone that sold me and haven't considered another manufacturer since.

Moved up to the Q10, now sporting the Passport in white.

YES I'm hooked on the Qwerty!

I think all of the BlackBerry smartphones I've had have been awesome, except one and a half... My top four would be the Passport, Z30, 9700 Bold and the 8100 Pearl. These have so far served me the best and have being true workhorses.

With regards to the worst, the 8220 Flip, it was laggy and everytime I got a notification (specially Facebook) and opened it, it would take so long to load... I did say one and a half, so this half would be a red 9800 Torch. Not because of the device itself, but I was just careless and got liquid damage in it. It became quite crappy afterwards, despite having it "cleaned" a couple of times.

I actually like the Torch design. So last year I got a deal on a new one from unsold inventory and keep it as a second line for calls, SMS and playing one of my favourite BB games of all time, Sid Meier's Pirates.

Sent from the powerful and masterful Passport!

Gotta be my Curve 9300 personally. But my unbiased view would be the 9900 by a mile.
