[CrackBerry Question]

I replaced the LCD screen... disassembly went well ... after putting back together everything worked fine EXCEPT the mic. People cannot hear me unless the phone is on speaker,,, Could I have gotten a bad LCD replacement part?

I did same thing yesterday. I ordered replacement screen housing to replace cracked screen and my mic no longer works when making calls. Can only talk to people thru speakerphone. The only difference is that you Phone was doing this before I replaced screen and even before I broke screen.

I already tried a hard reset and removing cloth screen from mic. Neither worked.

Help anyone?

In either situation run BBVE audio tests. More than likely mic is faulty or physical connection to mic disturbed when screen replaced.
