I have a problem every time I change access point whether from wifi - 3G or 2G to 3G I loose my Blackberry services (the Blackberry symbol disappears next to the service indicator)
This can last for a few minutes or many hours.
My APN settings are correct & verified by my network provider (EE).
Is this a network or Blackberry OS problem.
If its a BlackBerry problem then is there a fix?
Thanks in advance for any help offered.

I think this is an issue between your carrier and your device. I always switch to 3G to 2G and vice-versa and the BlackBerry logo comes back in a matter of seconds.

Will give it a try but I never had the problem with OS7.
Is the 'problem' just on OS 10 devices.
Also the Z10 does not have a 2G only option so can't use the 'fix' on that device.
    Thanks

This is an issue I have been having since I got my Z10 in April last year. I now have a Z30 and it still happens occasionally and I have seen it happen on Q10s. It happens less often now with 10.2.1. When I leave a wifi network it would lose connection to BB services and I would have to switch off mobile network for a few seconds and when I turn it back on it would reconnect. I used to think it was because my carrier only had Edge but they have since upgraded to 4G and it still happens.

I have a Q10 on EE, In the house we have a Z10 on EE, a Z10 on T Mobile and a Z10 on Orange.
The Z10 on Orange is the only device that doesn't have a problem
Yes I know that all 3 carriers are one!
As I said before it never happened on my 9900 (Vodafone)
If it is a OS problem I hope its sorted in the next update?
