    Is there a limit in the number of icon that can be placed in the main screen? How many would it be? And, in the case there wasn't any limitation, why wouldn't the browser add web shortcuts to the desktop?

    The icon limit is 16 per page.. any created in excess of that just creates a new home screen page however. You can create home screen bookmark from the browser. Just tap the overflow menu and click add to home screen.

    No, I know that it just adds a new page, but I have about three hundred icons and I can only add icons when installing new apps. The browser says that the shortcut has been added, but I don't see it.
