Z30 is the nicer device and has more built-in features. The Leap is stripped down in features.

Z30 is better than Leap in all respects but truthfully both are dated devices and considering the probable demise of BB10 you may want to consider your needs and alternatives....Priv (if you want to stay with BB).

That being noted,if you are really set on a full touch BB10 device go with the Z30.

If you need a GSM phone, then it's the Leap! The Z30 is a CDMA phone.

My Z30 is GSM. All the unlocked Z30's are GSM. Only Z30 sold by Verizon is CDMA.

But on that note, buy a Priv. It's the future. Like comparing a 57 Chevy to 16 Chevy. Great for it's time but that was almost 60 years ago.

I'd take that '57 over any 2016...except maybe new Vette.

Yes but imagine that all the 57 can do is sit there because it needs parts that nobody has. That's BBOS7 with Carriers that no longer support BIS. That will also become the BB10 problem when android compatibility further degrades and mobile browser falls behind.

I have both. Z30 has better speaker, USB-OTG, NFC, and HDMI-out. Leap has a more modern look, a brighter screen, and much better LTE support.

If BB10 of today meets your needs, and your are OK with it's functionality degrading over the coming months/years. Then buy a Z30 or a LEAP.

But if you are thinking that BB10 is going to see more support from developers, more updates with real feature improvements from BlackBerry.... take a little time to read some of the threads here.

I think BB10 will continue to make a very good communications tool. But if you want apps, it's just not a viable option for the future with the aging 4.3 Runtime and dependance on one developer offering hacks and patches. If he moves on and Google changes stuff... things will go downhill fast.

Well looking at the leap now looks nice but sins we don't use nfc here it's not so important but it seems that the z30 has abit more power but I don't se the differnce in the 2 phones but think my classic is slow
