When I click decline, the app closes. One of the main reasons I choose BB is because of the security. So right now, this just looks a really bad idea to let this stupid android app have access to my contacts, my files, pictures, phone number, PIN and serial number. Am I just being paranoid? Can somebody please explain the real risks involved here?

I believe the permission to use "shared files" is to be able to attach/send pictures and what not to your contacts. Perhaps the phone number and pin are to find friends on the application, though I'm only guessing. You would have to contact the developers and ask why their application is asking for many permissions.

Phone number is for finding friends and shared files is for sending files, not sure about the others because I can't remember them.
