    can any one help as how to reduce (or) swicth off the keypad tone, without effecting any other notifications.

    You can't. Your dial pad tones, camera snap, and notifications are all in one pack. If your notification sounds are on, then the other two are on. If the sounds are off, then they're off too.

    Go to system settings. Language and Input. Scroll to Feedback. Move slider all the way to the left.
