Using a z30. Yesterday it went through a security wipe and set back to factory defaults. Before the wipe I had a couple of apps that I would like to reinstall - Netflix and Skype. Sideloaded Snap but when I sign it does not show any apps. So now trying to go through the setup of Google Play store / services by following the Cobalt setup steps:

    http://forums.crackberry.com/android-apps-amazon-store-apk-files-f413/google-play-store-blackberry-10-read-first-post-instructions-985344/

When I try step 3 - Step 3: Register your device with Google Play I get the following error: Check in failed: [Account Manager refuses token request]...

Any help would be appreciated. Have spent the last 24 hours fighting with the phone and getting close to throwing it.

Do yu have two step verification for ya Google account.. if yes.. sign in using app pass word.. use that 16 digit password yu generate to sign in. Check if that solves ya issue.

Did anyone find a solution here? Now I'm having the same issue, and I'm on a one-step sign in setup.

Install all 4 apks before doing the sign in. The instructions simply dont work in the advised order.

Unfortunately that still doesn't work as I have 3 of them installed, and even if you try to run the Google ID before the Google account, it still forces you to log in first bringing you back to the same issue. Furthermore I'm unable to install the playstore:

You might want to try these steps...I had the same issue & got it working this way (some steps may not all be necessary but at least this way it works).

I uninstalled Google account manager and blackberry Google ID...installed the old ones that worked (Google Account Manager 4.3.3 & BlackBerry Google ID 2.5).

All went well and registered perfectly. Installed the PlayStore which worked just fine.

Then updated Google Account Manager & BlackBerry ID to the latest versions.

I only had to go back in BlackBerry ID and update the registration but it went through just fine.

My only problem now is apps like netflix, paypal are popping up with an error (but they work):

"AppName relies on Google Play Services, which is not supported by your device. Contact the manufacturer for assistance"

I just did a factory reset on my z30 and had the same issue. Resolved by opening the vending file for the store before registering the device (Step 4 before step3).

    Blackberry Z10, Rogers, OS 10.3.2.2474. Cobalt's apk's current as of 2016-10-22.

Was working through the instructions as posted, figured I'd follow them to the letter, got the refused-token thing even though the Google account seemed to be fine (was syncing even). Jumping ahead and installing Cobalt's Play Store, then going back to register the device in Google ID, made it work.

Sweet. This rocks. Thanks, DaSchwantz and Cobalt!
