While checking out device monitor I came across "invoke proxy" what is this?

I may not be the best person to explain this, but I would say it has something to do with your devices connection back to the NOC or network operations center at BlackBerry.. this connections is important for background processes like sensor calibration and usage statistics and also for use elements like BBM.
