Is there an app that has an invisible active icon so that only my wallpaper shows (not disrupted by any icons)? Devs please create an app that its only function is to run and have a present but invisible active icon. Call it "Invisible Active Icon" lol. I'd buy that. Be sure to site me for the idea.

I doubt it will be accepted in BlackBerry World.

In 10.3 (well, 10.3.1 for all in-market devices), there is an option to display your wallpaper if no apps are in the active frame state

In case you still need to hide your icons, there is this app that mimics the home screen, you can set gif files as wallpaper as well (in the app)

This app seems to do what you want with the caveat of having full stops under where the icon would be. If only it would accept spaces as the "app" name then it'd be perfect and would have my dollar.

Nice find, I actually figured out a way to do it myself with existing apps. If you have Shortcut Creator, find yourself a transparent icon from Google in png format then create an account shortcut to the hub with the clear png as the icon. Name it with this character: ??(there's a blank character there after the colon not a space although CB10 might do something funny to the format), and create your shortcut. Rinse and repeat until you have as many as you want. Screen shot of my first app page attached.

Here's the link to the Shortcut Creator I used as there are a few similar apps.
