    Hey Guys,

Im wondering how i can perform a password reset for all the users on the BES (preferably the inactive ones) in bulk.
Please any help would be greatly appreciated. The password resets are killing me.

I don't see why you would change device passwords for active users (and especially not for inactive users, as their devices must be disconnected), but the answer would be BlackBerry Ressource Kit for BES 5.

    See commandline tool usage here:
Set the password for a device - BlackBerry Enterprise Server User Administration Tool - Administration Guide - BlackBerry Enterprise Server Resource Kit - 5.0.4

    Thanks for the fast response!
But I'm not asking for device password resets. Im asking for "Enterprise Activation Password Resets" the problem being they were all set for the default of 48 hours which has now expired so i have about 8000 users calling up for password resets... which i can do on a individual basis but i have not figured out how to do this for all the users that have not activated yet.

Why would you have 8000 users wanting a new activation password?

Btw. Are you aware of the BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager? =self provisioning ;-)

The ressource kit should be able to set activation passwords as well. You'll probably have to do a little scripting.
