Gmail sending via a browser allows it and the image appears when the mail is received on the BlackBerry. I tried this sending from Gmail on the Web after setting the signature and I received it in my Outlook account on the BlackBerry. When sending from the BlackBerry though, the mail doesn't seem to use the Gmail assigned signature at all. I deleted the one on the phone assuming that Gmail would stick it on but nothing shows.

Can this be done?

i believe you are stuck with the email signature you sent on your phone for email sent from the phone..

No. Images in email signature on a BlackBerry device is not yet offered.
