Can I ignore notifications issued by Blend? "BlackBerry Blend is currently connected"

I don't see any help seeing them.

its just letting you know that you are connected - once you disconnect it goes away - so if you leave your desk with your phone you can tell you are still connected and may want to go disconnect it.

A more elegant solution would be a tiny square in the top bar, next to the location, no-ring and battery icons. I tend to keep my HUB notification free and clear / delegate the notification as soon as possible. And this Blend notification seems redundant to me.

Same here. I find the blend hub notification frustrating to be honest. It also triggers the notification led every time.

    I like the square idea.

Yeah, this is listed as a fix in the new beta version that was just released. The problem is, I can't see a place to disable it! Anyone know how to do this?

Also the new beta has a blend icon that appears along the top when connected. Not sure if it was there already. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this.

icon on the top didn't used to be there but there is one if you are on a phone call and you minimize that screen so that may be what you are thinking of.
