    he had 2 phones, so i put my sim card into his z10 and am using it. although his bbm is still there and i want to use my own bbm. if i delete all his data on the z10, does it affect his bbid on the phone he is using?

    Go ahead and wipe it. It's the only way to get a BBID off a BlackBerry device.

    His other phone can't be affected that way.
