    If I buy the Keyone in the UK will it work in Dubai? They guys in carphone warehouse say it wont as is regionally locked.

    I am in the UK for a couple of days and would like to get it with the english keyboard.

    The KEYone model selling in the UK is BBB100-2 which is designated for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

    Your only other GSM option is the "US V1" model BBB100-1 which is for North America and Asia Pacific.

    You should check which frequency bands are used by your carrier, but I expect the "UK" model will work for you.

    Yes, the UK version is the middle east version.

    Yes the regions covered are: EMEA (Europe, middle east and africa)
