Seems like Blackberry decided to turn the passport into an iPhone toy and abandoned the robust PIM platform. OH sure the social network features work fine, but how about the reason a Business Person gets a phone in the first place. you know, phone calls on the go, eMails on the go, Conference call on the go, Secure messaging on the go (BBM), and Fax capture on the go.

Call history - when was the last time i spoke to Mr. or Miss blank
Call notes - what was his her concern and what did i promise to do
Call duration - just in case they get amnesia.

Love the device; it looks professional, but
I'm giving up too much just to get a play time phone.

No you can't. BlackBerry 7.1 too old to run the passport. 10.3.2 is the best OS to run in your PP

Lol, not possible. Nothing would be supported for the Passport.

If only. . . . they had taken the Bold, made it 4G, added a better camera. Then enabled it to pull down Android apps . . . . .
