Looks like using snap to load it from Google play will be the easiest. Apparently they also have a web client though that could be accessed through the browser, no app required.

    Which thermostat do you have?

I need an app to operate a Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostat.-img_20141116_130304.jpgI need an app to operate a Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostat.-img_20141117_175554.jpgI need an app to operate a Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostat.-img_20141117_174711-1-.jpg

The Lyric app is pretty cool except for the Google Play services pop up.

Do you need anything else to use that thermostat over wifi other than a internet connection?

Also, is there a way to set an alarm to notify you on your phone if it's turned up over a certain temperature?

I have only had it installed for less than a week and haven't really played with it much. I thought it was really neat to see how long it really takes for a temperature to drop in the house.

I do have it installed on my iPad also so I should be able to see everything the thermostat and the apps are able to do.

The cool thing about the thermostat that I learned is that it wil find your wifi connection even after the network going down. I was hoping that was the case but I just wasn't sure.

It doesn't even come with directions. Everything is in the app. Videos, pictures, various directions for various ways of connecting to existing wires.

Both stats can be FULLY controlled by any laptop, tablet, or with our beloved BB10 device thru Android app. Wifi or cellular.

Hope this helps, if any other questions, just ask!

Driving to the office, and cranking up the heat on my Nest so its nice and toasty when I get there.......

Did you get it to work? I am trying to get the Lyric to work on my Passport and it won't communicate. The Lyric app from SNAP displays the google play notice but it runs. Just does not connect to Tstat. The Tstat shows up as a connection on my wifi utility but not on my router. It does not ask for the security setup at all. Any thoughts?

Any update here about the Lyric Tmostat? Been lurking with this thread for a while about the Lyric. Anyone here able to utilized the geofencing using Cobalt's patch? Got ours as a gift working fine except the geofencing and the popup issue.

Hey! I also use Hive on my passport. It's awesome. There seems to be a new update for the app though. Have you tried it? Am scared that the new app might not work though.
