    I can hear that texts are arriving, and that I am getting a facebook notification but I have no screen to look at. The phone was not in direct sunlight but was in the Las Vegas 110 degree heat. There appeared to be some condensation under the glass of the screen. It has never come back on.

    Probable is a dead screen... they can be replaced. Based on the your can hear other things that indicate the phone is working.
