I have a Blackberry Torch 9800.

I love the shape and design, and the high quality of it. My torch still works fine although it is slow compared to my Samsung s6. I use it for radio, alarm and clock. The Priv is just not a comfortable fit nor does it have the same quality construction as the torch. Why they did not just make a fatter larger torch quality phone is my question.

Many here prefer some of the older designs.... but that's the past.

As for why it's not what you wanted... I'd say it's a result of having to make the phone cheap enough that BlackBerry could make a profit on the very low volume. But trying to make it appear like a stylish and modern phone.
