My Blackberry 9930, originally with Verizon, can't be activated with them when I give them the IMEI number. They claim it is not a blacklisted phone, but the IMEI number does not show up as an actual "device". They say they can probably get it to work, but it would take a few days. Does anyone know why happens, especially when it was on their system before? Also, is there an "easy" way to eliminate the need to continually have to enter a password to use the phone? Thank you.

Just enter the password to open the device, and then turn off the password function so you won't need to do that anymore......
As to imei number being in limbo, i have no clue, Did you go to a "corporate store", or just a verizon retailer, not the same....I would try another store
