[CrackBerry Question]

Got the new Passport. Tried to do a device switch, but z10 says no data to back up.
Tried to just do a back up with the z10, says cannot back up device.

I've been sitting here with the new passport and I can't use it without transferring all my data.

help!

Is the Z still signed into BBID?

Please check and verify in settings. Also, could you provide more details on what Link says when you attempt a device switch?

I don't think you could go backwards with the versions. Pp has 10.3 and I'm assuming your z10 has 10.2. It has to be the same to work, this happened to me when I had was using my z10 and got the replacement, the new one had a newer version that was available to me at the time in my region/carrier so wouldn't allow me to transfer I had to send it back.

Unless I misread, they're going Z to PP. As long as the OS is less than or equal to on the one being switched, it really doesn't matter. If the one you're leaving is on a higher OS, then it's impossible using the wizard.
