    I am running WhatsApp Android 2.17.25 on Blackberry OS10.3.2.2836. I can receive images without problems, but I cannot send images sucessfully, messages are always stuck with clock symbol-why?

    There was a fix for the android apk, but you will need to search the forums for it. Why don't you just run the BB10 version of WhatsApp for now. Yes, the support is supposed to end by June 2017, but why not just use the version that works while researching the solution to the Android version. Less headache in my opinion. You can do the research now with no pressure so that when that time comes, you can switch over and have it working.
