I mean with the wings, i have no idea how to wear them...where do the things pointing out go?

The wings go inside the lobes, the hole where the sound comes out goes in the ear hole. They actually anchor in there pretty good. It threw me off the first time too. Not sure this helps without a diagram.
The wings grip themselves inside your ear. Insert with them pointing towards your back and very slightly downwards.

Just tried mine on for my ear they are pointing straight towards my back

These are the first type of ear buds that do Not stay in my ear. They fall out and I can't put them back in correctly. It takes me 5 tries.
I'm having a terrible time with these plugs. They may work for some ears, but not mine. Very disappointed. Love my passport but I have old earplugs to older blackberries that stay in and put out the bass better. Anyone agree?
I use my Note 3 headphones that came with that phone.

Reviving this - just got my silver pp today and couldn't figure out the earbuds. Turns out they were installed exactly 180 degrees wrong. Swiveled them around, fit like a glove.
