    Hello forum.

I purchased a bunch of movies on my BlackBerry Z10 a few years ago when BlackBerry World had a sale. I tried to copy the wmv files to my Z30 yesterday but got an error when I tried to play them back. The error was:

    ___

The file can't be opened. Download the original file or its license again and try again.
    ___

It doesn't look like the movies are still available through BlackBerry World, so are these just junk now?

Yet another reason to hate DRM.

    Thanks for any insight.

I believe we were given an end date to retrieve media and that passed a while back. I lost a whole pile of video and albums too.

Thanks. I don't remember seeing this. I wonder how BlackBerry tried to communicate this with their customers.

Such is life. Many thanks for replying to my post.

There was an email notification back in 2013 and it was posted in a couple of threads here on Crackberry.

I have read that if you purchased music it may be accessible through 7Digital but reportedly no such option for videos.
