    I am having massive problems, the device is stuck in simulation mode and doesn't go further than that since I am unable to perform a part of the simulation exercise (because of the top down touch issue). Can you please help me how to uninstall the current OS and reinstall the same.

    You can't uninstall the OS but you can get a clean one
