    Hi,

I have an Android phone and I have created a Whatsapp Backup on the Gdrive but when i try to run whatsapp on My blackberry Z3, I don't get an option of retriving backup from my Gdrive. And neither does it uses the backup of whatsapp created on the SD card. Is it an encryption issue for Blackberry??

    PLEASE ADVISE...

    Yes.
Copy files from your Android phone ( phone storage > what's app > databases ) and put them all in your BlackBerry device (storages > device > misc> whatsaap > backup) and than start whatsaap with your same number.

RIM folks provided a special tool exactly for this task. It's called Device Switch. They are the best! Above is a detailed article on transferring WhatsApp, contacts, photoes, etc to BB10.
