[CrackBerry Question]

With the new update, the q10 changes text, like the word "strawberry" or "OK" to images of a small strawberry or a hand making the ok sign.

This happens in email or text, and isn't appropriate for many messages. I can wait about 5 seconds before hitting the space bar or put a dash right after the word to stop it from happening, but its not an ideal solution.

Anyone know how to shut off this program?

I do use the word substitution function for words and phrases, so i don't want to shut that off, if I don't have to.

Sound like you've downloaded an app that is causing all the trouble, running in the background. Check your app permissions. I can type the word strawberry -- see, I just did it, and a picture did not appear. Also double-check your word substitutions. It's not the BlackBerry OS causing the issue, that I'm sure of.
