I'm sure what I have is a factory unlocked, but I don't get the OS update " still on 10.2.1 " so people say that I must not having the factory unlocked

R there anyway to make sure of it? How can I know if my BlackBerry device is a factory unlocked?

Do you want the OS? you can download it yourself and install. Way safe than waiting for a carrier to send to you or even BB. There have been many issues with OTA installs.

OP is asking about factory unlocked, not just unlocked.

Maybe PRD numbers can be correlated to carrier vs. non-carrier.
