So I just checked my most recent G-Mail device history and got a question.

Due to dynamic IPs being pretty common here in Germany multiple connections are listed. Which isn't really that surprising. However, there also multiple US locations listed, such as New York and San Franciso. Why, I dont know, but I was considering the possibility that this is due to RIM saving my E-Mails and their servers and then sending them to my phone.

I am just not sure if they are running servers in the US and would appreciate it if someone of you, who also uses G-Mail, could check whether similar connections are displayed on his account.

I see that too. It's (I assume) because your device has to reach for the server (the BlackBerry server) for most stuff.

It may not use BIS, but it does use the NOC.
