    Have been testing some Blackberry Privs for our users who had older Blackberrys. I have wiped one to be re-set up for another user but on restart it asks for the Google Account that was previously synced on the device. I do not know this as was set up by a colleague who is now away. Is there a way to wipe totally and set up again with a new Google account?

    No there isn't. That's the point of anti-theft.
