    The only contacts transferring are those tagged as Default. I am unable to select any groups when syncing in Desktop Tools. Other option is to manually change all contacts over to Default on the Bold but I am not sure how to do this as I have 400 contacts tagged on other accounts (ie. Hotmail) that I need to set as Default. Any tips?

    As for the categories, no idea if this will copy that "flag" or not. Give it a shot.

    Make new folder on your Mac. Then connect via bluetooth. After that process,you can add your contact files to address book.
