Short of getting rid of Flash or turning it off globally, is there a way I can prevent videos from autoplaying?
Example: click on a story on CNN.com, the video will start playing itself after a few seconds.

So, does anybody have an answer to this MAJOR issue ?

Yeah, ask the sites to not use the autoplay feature when coding the site.
This is a website issue, nothing you, or BlackBerry can do about it.
Press the mute button to stop it

Looking at CNN.com, the damn videos play even if you toggle Flash off
And the problem for me is that the video at the beginning of the story goes "full screen" too. Sooo muting it doesn't do too much when I have to get out of video player mode to read the story.
We should be able to prevent video to play whatever the website code. This is far too intrusive !
I've stopped using some sites just because of this.

I don't understand what the point of being able to turn Flash off is. If the video is going to play anyway, why bother?
Ideally, I would have liked to be able to manually tap on a video to play it. But even if turning that setting off kills Flash completely, I'm okay with it--on a case-by-case basis, I'll turn it on, reload the page, whatever.
Concur with the CNN video piece. Frustrating to be partially into reading a story, only to have a darn full-page video pop up.
Bad form, CNN.
Until/unless they fix that, will be getting news from other sources.

Or use different browsers. Both chrome and firefox seem to do the job.
