You can neither sign out of BBM nor use a different BBID once you've added one.

The only way to fix that is to Security Wipe the device back to default settings as if it had a new owner.

Do you know how to do that?

I think signing out your blackberry account from your phone will help.

And how do you propose to do that? Is there a function only you know of?

Ummmm, system settings >Blackberry ID> edit (on phone)

I was able to edit/change the properties of mine.

WARNING make sure you have everything ready (email address and password) you will NOT be able to minimize that screen to look for password let's say in Password keeper.

This works on 10.3.1.1151 cannot say if it works on any other versions

This edits your BBID info, but you cannot change to another preexisting BBID.

I have a spare Z10 still signed in on previous user's BBID. For fun when I have a minute, I'll try to sign in there on my BBID using that Edit screen and see if lets me. (Fairly certain it will not.)

This is correct. You can edit, but not change to a different BB ID without doing a security wipe.

I stand corrected. I had used that screen to change between 2 different BlackBerry ID.

But never completed the action to ensure it really took as I have my Z10 just where I like it running 10.3.1.151.
I use the other ID for my 9930 that is still hooked to my sprint.blackberry.net email address and BIS

    My apologies.
