    how do i setup Email on 9670. ISP wants me to use security type and a port.

    If you'e not on a BES, you need a BIS plan. Call your carrier and ask for BIS - BlackBerry Internet Service.

    If you're on a BES, talk to the IT guy about it. He should be able to set you up.
