Bare with me because I'm giving you this from memory....been a while since I used the old OS . go to options------->security options--------->general settings-------->press the bb button and click wipe handheld--------->tick off third party applications if you want to loose them all------->click continue and type blackberry and hit the enter button and the blackberry will now reset

    See:
How do I reset my device password if I forget it? - How To - BlackBerry Q10 Smartphone - 10.1
Although the link is for a Q10, the info is the same for any BlackBerry device, legacy or BB10.
Basically, if you get the password wrong several times, it will security wipe the device itself.
