Every time I do a Facebook app update, all my notifications, that were previously deleted (from when I first for the phone 2.5yrs ago) reappear. And I then have to individually delete them all, all over again.

Great question. I went thru exactly the same issue several myself after FB updates. Very frustrating, that old notifications, previously deleted would appear again from dead without a reason. Good thing with the newest OS update is, that you can delete all of them at once rather than going one by one like before.

Report a bug to them? Sounds like a bug.

I don't think this is BB issue, it is more FB and their app problem, as after each update it syncs with your account and provides all the old notifications again.

To the OP, I learned this great feature recently by reading one of the threads here, when in FB notifications try this: click on the date above any notifications of your choice and a menu will appear on your right with option to "delete prior", use this and you can get rid off all that old stuff in a hurry, rather then doing it the long way, one by one. Good luck.
